Denzil Grant is a graduate of West Dean College, with a BADA Diploma in Furniture Restoration. (There he met his wife Nicky who was doing Tapestry Restoration.)

His workshops offer a complete, professional restoration and conservation service using traditional craftsmanship, preserving the integrity of the piece. The art of good restoration is to take a piece in a poor state and transform it into the best possible condition – bringing out the beauty, colour and patina – in such a way that it should appear as if it has never been touched and is simply in exceptional condition. For Denzil, this is one of the most enjoyable aspects of his business.
