This rare piece has all the idiosyncratic charm, colour and patina, associated with the very best country furniture. The stem is made of yew wood with the original retaining peg, which allows the tiers to rotate. The balusters are walnut and the dished and moulded trays are made of oak, as are the legs which protrude from a six sided elm block. English, circa 1720.
