Louis XV Commode
A walnut serpentine Louis XV commode with two short and two long drawers and repeat serpentine gouge-channel carving to the drawer fronts, arch panel sides and rounded channel front stiles. It has a wonderful colour is a very pleasing proportion, being shallower and lower than you would usually expect. French, circa 1740.
