Valentine Cavalry Trooper
An early 19th century naïve water colour depicting a member of the Household Cavalry Blues and Royals. He is carrying a horse whip and wearing spurs. These Folk Art likenesses were often sent home as a keepsake to loved ones. In its original oak frame. English, circa 1820.
