A delightful full-bodied zinc weathervane in the form of a lamb standing on stylised grass. It has the original paint colour. The lamb has a wonderful naive innocent quality, the way it hold its head being extremely evocative. This is a particularly good example of artisan Folk Art. French, circa 1865.
