An English sailor work diarama of a three masted ship following a pilot cutter in to port.

We are trying something new on our website which we are very excited about. Having spent 30 years in the antiques trade and on the fair circuit, we have always enjoyed the cut and thrust of buying antiques, where the price is inevitably negotiable. We would like to offer you the opportunity to experience this too.

On one featured piece each week, we will have a ‘make an offer’ sale. You will be able to see pictures and a full description of the piece and will have the option to make an offer, either via email or telephone. There will be a minimum amount which will be set purposefully low to encourage participation. Who knows, you may get a real bargain!

On the closing date, the person who has offered the most will get the item – simple as that.

The piece will of course always be on display at Green Farm Gallery for viewings and we are happy to send condition reports or answer any questions you might have.

The first piece will be online from Monday 13th February.

We would love to get your feedback on this idea, please send any comments to us.

Denzil Grant.
