Details

A set of six steel and antler knives and three pronged forks. the knives stamped Joseph Rodgers and Sons cutlers to her majesty with a crown. star and Maltese Cross. This firm were the most prominent Sheffield cutlers during the 19th century. The antler came in to fashion with Victoria’s purchase of Balmoral. English, circa 1850.
