A charming and remarkable Folk Art painting done by Henry Mounsey  when a child during the mid 19th century. He was the eldest son of Jasper Capper Mousey, an Iron Merchant from Durham though living in Jesmond at the time this was painted. In watercolour and pen, it shows a country house in a hillside village setting. English circa 1860.
