Sycamore Stool

Details

A bold turned  stool, the three inch sycamore thick top on three ash legs. It has traces of the original green paint and is inscribed on the underside ADTJ. The top is slightly dished and the whole has a wonderful worn colour and surface. English, circa 1780.

A unique sycamore primitive stool or low table. The legs are made of as found staves of sycamore and the thick chamfered top is gloriously adzed. English, circa 1790.
