A model of a Highlander Black Watch soldier with Greenlees Glasgow stamped on the reverse. Greenlees Bros. distillers in Glasgow, commissioned these cast iron figures to give to landlords for display in their pubs. The plinth on which it stands is inscribed “Bonny Scotland”. Scottish, circa 1890.
